Transvias: Google Analytics audience data in a dedicated dashboard
A pipeline from Google Analytics 4 to BigQuery and an audience dashboard with login, updated automatically.
Starting point
Transvias, a general guide to the transportation sector, relies on its website as its main showcase and needed to understand its audience in more depth than Google Analytics' standard reports allow.
The data was locked inside the GA4 interface, with no organized history and no view tailored to the business's questions.
What was implemented
- Export from Google Analytics 4 to BigQuery, keeping the full event history.
- Organized data layers (bronze and marts) with scheduled queries that recalculate the indicators automatically.
- Sync of the final indicators to a lean database that serves the dashboard quickly and at low cost.
- Audience dashboard in Streamlit, published within Efizion Flow, with login.
- Automatic deployment on every change to the project.
What changed
Transvias now has its audience data in a place of its own, with history and indicators designed around the business, without relying on manual exports from Google Analytics.
