Dr. Morgana Sampaio: digital presence for a medical practice
A website with one page per condition treated, a self-managed blog, patient reviews and medical advertising that complies with Brazil's Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) rules.
Starting point
Dr. Morgana Sampaio sees patients at her private practice and needed to be found by people searching Google for conditions such as anxiety, insomnia and ADHD.
The first version of the site was an application that assembled its content in the browser: attractive for visitors, but hard for Google and AI assistants to read, with no dedicated page for each topic and with the content management system's key exposed in the browser code.
What was implemented
- Migration of the site to Next.js, with content delivered ready-made by the server and the content system's key kept safely on the server, so the site can be read by Google and AI assistants.
- One page per condition treated (anxiety, depression, insomnia, ADHD, burnout), each with frequently asked questions, plus pages for online consultations and evening appointments.
- Self-managed blog in Directus: the doctor publishes articles without needing a developer, and each condition page shows related articles.
- Patient reviews displayed on the site, with a notice that they reflect patients' opinions.
- Professional identification in line with Brazil's Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) Resolution 2,336/2023: name, "MÉDICA" (physician) and CRM (medical license number) always shown together, and no specialty title without an RQE (specialist registration).
- Full technical SEO: structured data, sitemap, security (CSP) and automatic deployment on every change.
What changed
The practice now has dedicated pages for each topic patients search for, within the rules for medical advertising, and the doctor can publish content on her own.
